Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married June 2013 and quickly caught the #travel bug! We started “travel hacking” & finally decided we wanted to travel for one year. After 2 years of saving $ and over 2 million miles and points, we sold our cars and apartment and left home January 10, 2016. We started this #travelvlog to share our experiences with friends and family, then decided we really liked vlogging and traveling! After achieving our new goal of 100 countries before 2020 and all 7 continents, we have no plans to slow down anytime soon, and we are incredibly thankful to do something we love every day. :)
Due to the new travel advisories in Washington, Oregon, and California we have decided to cancel the rest of this trip :( - Enjoy this video, and we'll explain a little more about the cancelation on Sunday. Thanks for watching :)
Do you have any merch ?
@Jennifer MacKinnon it was in the news and two special reports.
Let us know when you get it rescheduled. We are doing that route right now and we are currently in the Redwoods in California.
@AIM relax. Quit being so righteous.
@Heather Rowles relax Heather. Quit virtue signalling.
😂 I would do the same thing Kara. It’s probably the only reason I want to visit the state of Washington. 😯 Oh my goodness! If I saw eagles in real life, it would be unreal.
But I wonder, are there special parkings to park your van for the night?
Love your videos, keep up the good work 😊! Also, you guys are a cute couple!
As someone who lives on Vancouver Island, I have seen orcas a few times on ferry trips, usually to Port Angeles from Victoria.
I live by Port Angeles!! So cool
omg i live in canada
Ohhh I know this place because of “It’s judy’s life” 😂
I cannot explain how excited I am y'all stopped at Forks!!! I'm going there in June. Will be driving the same route from Seattle. You made the Twi-hard in me so happy! Also, good idea with the ferry ride! I appreciate the preview! Lol 😁😁
As a local resident that is rare to see whales
I have to tell you the falls in this video are smaller than normal. But it never gets old. We live here we see it all the time
I never ever comment on CNworld videos. As a native Washingtonian and a photojournalist in Seattle, it was so fun and funny to watch people who have never traveled though here. Your pronunciations and perspectives I embrace! From you thinking the water falling over Snoqualmie Falls was a lot of water...it was not. That was half of raging. I have been to every nook and cranny of this state. And yes, I have been on hundreds if not thousands of ferry rides and still have not seen Orca. BUT I have done real cool stories up close and personal with them in the San Juan Islands. If ever in Washington, put me down in your note pad of places to experience here. I found you after your Cerro Gordo trip. Look forward to more of your adventures.
Snoqualmie Falls is amazing, but that was at about half power. during the spring thaw the falls are raging.
When talking about seeking to go all-out together in a long built up intimate session where it is just as much emotional and spiritual as it is physical. And obviously is key for the female to be completely relaxed and in the moment, in order for her partner to make that deep contact into her floor and hold that pressure as everything wakes up and really comes to life. And as it all comes together things obviously progress into those highly connected full body cimaxes. Whereas if the settings and the mood isn't quite right, it can be very difficult for the cervical floor to really come alive and be able to properly receive that deeper stimulation. So the grand question, do you find this process is just as easy to achieve in a secluded area in the van as it was in the privacy and comfort of your home? Are their any pros or cons to each that come to mind? Thank you and safe travels!
i love every vid
I just found you guys and what a treat! I loved your videos and plan to see every one of them. We are planning a trip down the coast of California on 101 in mid-August. We also have a travel trailer that we will be in. We would love to know the names of the places you camped as that is our only concern when traveling in very popular areas. Thank you.
It is so cute that he makes her coffee every morning and wakes her up it is adorable 🥰
You guys are so lucky, I live in Washington and I've seen, maybe one whale or two, my whole life, I can't believe you guys saw a baby orca!
I’m so jealous of your whale luck! I lived in Seattle for 4 years and I’ve lived in Vancouver bc for 9 years and I’ve seen a TINY bit of a whale ONCE!
You two should try hiking the Pacific coast trail from Mexico to Canada.
I live in Michigan right across Canada!
OMG when i was watching this and the lady said the boat left at 2:05 my clocked turned 2:05 at the exact same time 😳😳😯
I am glad you got your drone license. I just realized you had already gotten it bc I just finished your biking across Colorado and follow-up videos.

I love how excited you get over Bald Eagles... where I live (in Iowa on the Mississippi River) it isn't uncommon to see 40-50 all in the same day if you hit the season right. They hang out in the trees near the river.
Are u planing for kids
16yr old me is SO HAPPY that you guys went to Forks!! When I saw Port Angeles I was like....are they gonna? AND YOU DID!!!
Please come to Denmark sometime🇩🇰💗☺️

Kara and Nate I'm 12 years old and I first saw your channel during quarantine.I have seen almost all of your videos.I love watching you two have fun, "LOVE" you guys so much. Merry Christmas
Hi guys .... Your Sprinter must have changed wheel bearings, it makes a lot of noise when you drive (sings a lot) so I recommend you to get all 4 wheels checked for worn wheel bearings, if a wheel bearing burns solid, anything can happen you do not feel like ..... continue your wild experiences so that the rest of us can continue to follow you...... ;) Or you have a rely bad tier.......
I wore my headband like that too Kara! Lol
I aspire to have this relationship with my gf/wife when i'm older
I been in that place
❤😛👍❤💞😝💖😛❤👍👌
Okay I seriously cried when you guys saw the Orca Pod! it's so cool to see what you guys think of the area
I have a question where is ur kids ?
Hi Kara and Nate. This is Rana from Hyderabad - India. Hope you both are safe and doing well. Me and my wife started watching your travel videos from march of this year and we love your videos as we would watch each video couple times or more than that. Also, I personally feel that places you travel actually very good, scenic and worth knowing about different cultures and history too. Whenever we watch your videos it seems/feels like you are our family members. I wish you both good luck and safe travel. Also, we all know and faced this pandemic situations across the globe, I request you to take care of each other and we love you both.😊👍🤩❤️
Hey guys how do we get your weekly email?? Xx
13:46 *Inner twilight fan geeking out*
at 11:10 i was like ok its a campground, cool..... but then i saw the water, so incredible
This is crazy you guys were in Canada but there was no snow but where I live in Minnesota there's like 3 inches of snow.
The whales were beautiful 🤩
Love you guys
Yall should stop in Santa Barbara, i could give you some advice from a local:)
Kara, you actually pronounced Snoqualmie correctly! But then Nate butchered Port Angeles 🤣🤣
You really look like Jennifer aninston 😍
우와 ....🤩
You are so lucky to have seen the Orcas and the baby!!!!! I have lived here almost my entire life and never see them when we are out on our boat. I am always a day late and a dollar short when they are in our area. Cherish that moment and pray for their survival.
The person who lives there and said seeing orcas is rare is a bit oblivious. I see them regularly.
You guys are so lucky to see orcas! Let alone a calf!!
that place looks cold and dingy
U should go to Newfoundland in Canada
Omg..i feel you kara...i love twilight so much..❤❤❤❤❤
Aww I've been there! Its really pretty out there. Highly recommend the gift shop too.
Professor Nate at the helm
You are so lucky to see and photograph the whales with the baby! I live in the San Francisco Bay Area so I can’t wait until you come done the Pacific Coast Hwy. Enjoy your trip!
your going to Mexico like the country?/
Nope. you pronounced Snoqualmie right. I live in Seattle and I go skiing there all the time. For example this weekend I'm doing a whole ski trip with my family and I'm going skiing at both Mount Baker and Snoqualmie.
Yes Nate now we can see more of that beautiful drone images.
Oh my goodness!!! When was this!?! I'm originally from Vancouver BC (living in Europe) and took my bf last year in October for the first time. We spent a week on Vancouver Island and saw zero orcas :( We did some a ton of humpbacks though!
Hello guys, if you love to know about hikes and beautiful locations of Sri Lanka join with us..🙌🙌 #unknown hiker..💪💪💪
After four and a half months I have finally caught up to your current videos! Thank you so much for getting me through this pandemic with your wonderful travel vlogs. Because of you I’ve tried so many new foods (I’d never heard of Khao Soy before and now it’s my new favorite splurge meal!), and am already making my own list of countries I plan to visit one day. My current travel goal has been to go to all 50 states before I turn 50, and I’ve already made it to 30! Thank you for restoring my travel bug! And thank you for introducing me to the world through your videos ❤️
I don’t have Instagram
Did you go to Wyoming
kara and nate is good
I’m so jealous you guys saw orcas from the ferry! I grew up on Bainbridge Island and in 17 years of living there, I never saw whales from the ferry. I live in Washington DC now and miss the better Washington so much so I’m feeling all sorts of feelings watching y’all drive through my hometown and surrounding area. Sorry your roadtrip didn’t pan out the way you wanted but I’m glad you got to see the best scenery Washington has to offer!!
I love the Twilight Series. No worries.
Twilight ❤️
You didn’t drive from Canada tho guys. You travelled from the northwest of USA to Mexico 🙈 just saying
